Perhaps a clearer question for many ...is whether they view an afterlife as being similar to this life. And in saying that, it could not be denied that would be very diverse.

Yes, some people would probably like to say they'd like the afterlife to be similar to this life ...but, many more would not!!

Perhaps if you viewed the afterlife as a lottery, would you want to draw a number ...and you would have to live the life of a random person, as they've lived their life here on earth??

I would guess, that those who feel they are among the worse off ...may think this is a good idea.  So goes the adage, "What do I have to lose?  There's nowhere to go, but up!"

But, I'd think the majority of people in the United States would not want to choose this option ...unless they are a compulsive gambler, and reason does not drive them.
